Yeah it's supposed to be waterproof. I've worn my huggie earrings in the shower and pool plenty of times and they still look new. No green neck here!

I have a couple of their pieces, the gold filled ones. I wear my anklet in the ocean all the time and it hasn't tarnished at all. They really do stand up to water, it's one of the main reasons I buy from them.

Thinking of buying some stacking rings. How do James Michelle rings compare to Gorjana in terms of quality and durability? Are they actually real gold or just plated?

I've got both, and I think James Michelle holds up better, especially for the price. The gold filled stuff from JM is way more durable than Gorjana's plated pieces. JM definitely has real gold *filled* options, which is different from plated and lasts longer.

JM uses gold filled mostly, which is much better than just plated. It lasts ages. Gorjana is fine but I found their plating wore off quicker on rings, especially with hand washing and stuff. For durability, JM wins, especially if you're comparing their gold filled to Gorjana's plated.
